At Fern Hill School Ottawa, learning extends beyond the classroom through engaging field trips that bring history and culture to life. Recently, our Grade 1, 2, and 3 students visited the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, where they experienced what daily life was like in the 1920s and 1930s. This immersive, hands-on experience helped students connect their classroom learning to the real world, deepening their understanding of Canadian history in a meaningful and memorable way.
