We are very excited to officially announce that this spring, Fern Hill School will host a Family Art Gallery Event! 

Coming together to celebrate the wonderful accomplishments and creative voices of Fern Hill’s wonderful artists from Preschool through to Grade 8 will be the central focus of this very special evening. It is a wonderful way to have students share their work with their families and to delight in the creativity and talent of others. This event will also provide Fern Hill’s older students with opportunities in leadership roles such as hosts, guides, and servers. 

Fern Hill’s common spaces and gymnasium will be transformed into a POP-UP Art Gallery for families and friends to peruse at their leisure and discover the talents of their children and students throughout the school. The students are excited at the prospect of displaying their work and sharing it with family and friends. 

The event will take place in the early evening of Tuesday April 23rd, 2024. To accommodate varying family schedules and to aid in visitor flow and parking, viewing times will be staggered, and families can reserve a time. More information on this is to come.

Fern Hill has a strong history of supporting community charities around the city and this event will raise funds for the art program at the Don McGahan Boy’s and Girl’s Clubhouse of Ottawa. 

This is a unique chance to give our students an opportunity to help other youth in our community. All artwork on display will be for sale with priority given to families. The proceeds will go towards the Boy’s and Girl’s Club and Fern Hill’s Art Program. Further details on how this fundraiser will run will be sent separately closer to the event.
